Solar Panel Exclusions
Solar panels have become an amazing addition to our energy needs. Solar panels have also become an amazing nesting site for our winged friends! Pigeons are the primary culprits when having to exclude solar panel clusters. Our process is as follows:
- Clean all droppings and nesting material from under the panels.
- Pressure wash all droppings off of the roof (This helps to remove the pheromones that the birds are attracted to.
- Clean the surface of the panels (This will increase energy output and remove bird droppings.
- Install a solar panel exclusion kit around the perimeter of the panels (No glue or screws are ever used, we use solar panel specific clips to attach the vinyl coated mesh to the panels to comply with your solar panel warranty.)
- Clean and remove any droppings that have fallen off the roof around the home.
Bird Netting
Along with our solar panel services, our bird netting is one of our most used bird control products. The reason being, it is so versatile to work with. We can use it in so many applications from warehouse ceilings that need to be netted off, to residential homes that need an eave netted off to prevent pigeons from nesting in it. This is also a great method to keep cliff swallows from nesting under the roof eaves. The netting is a great solution overall and comes with the longest warranty. We offer a full five-year warranty on all of our netting installs and our manufacturer warranties the materials for 10 years. Take a look at some of our work below and if you think you may need some netting give us a call!

Cleaning & Sanitation
The cleaning and sanitation for birds isn’t always as easy as it seems. The bird droppings are extremely acidic and pose a number of hazards when cleaning up a bird project. Bird droppings host a number of health concerns and it is imperative when working in close contact with contaminated areas to always use:
- Protective gear – always use the proper protective wear. Wear latex or rubber gloves, proper respirator masks that can range from a N95 filtering facepiece for less contaminated areas, to a full facepiece air purifying respirator.
- Proper disinfectant – Use a disinfectant , sanitizer, fungicide, virucide, and deodorizer. Make sure the solution you use covers all of these areas. Aside from the health risks, the birds are attracted to the pheromones left behind from other birds. It is crucial to use a deodorizer to remove these pheromones.
- The right prevention product – simply put if you use the wrong products you will get adverse results. Certain products don’t work for all birds, and often people find themselves making the issue worse by using the wrong products or using them incorrectly.
- Lastly you will need the proper tools. Much of the bird work can be completed with a drill and some screws or adhesive. For the rest of the work there will be a need for some more expensive tools to provide optimal results on your install.
Our bird control services does not end there though! We have a solution for any residential bird issue you are having.
